How to Make Tequila Stardust Gummy Wands
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of water and 1 cup of tequila over medium heat. Stir gently until warm, not boiling.
- Add 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1/4 cup of corn syrup to the saucepan. Stir continuously until sugar is dissolved, about 3-4 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin over the warm mixture and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Stir gently until gelatin is fully dissolved to ensure smooth gummy texture.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of lime juice, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt until well combined.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and allow to cool for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare a silicone mold by lightly greasing it.
- Carefully pour the gummy mixture into the mold or shallow dish evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
- Once set, remove from the mold or cut into strips from a dish.
- Dust with edible glitter for a sparkling finish.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
