Ingredients
  

For the Sausage Mixture
  • 1 pound Ground pork sausage mild or spicy
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies drained
For the Cheese and Mix
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese sharp or mild
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix can substitute with gluten-free mix
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork sausage and softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Gently stir in the drained Rotel tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. Gradually add the Bisquick baking mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until thick and combined.
  5. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet, spaced 1 inch apart.
  6. Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
