How to Make Pistachio Cranberry Brie Swirl Christmas Tree
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface into equal-sized rectangles about 12x8 inches.
- Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over one pastry sheet, leaving a 1 cm border around the edges.
- Arrange the brie slices across the cranberry layer, and sprinkle the chopped pistachios and optional orange zest on top.
- Lay the second sheet of puff pastry on top and gently press down to seal the edges.
- Cut into a large tree shape, leaving scraps for decoration.
- Slice horizontal 'branches' along both sides, leaving a center strip intact.
- Twist each branch away from the center to create the spiral swirl.
- Brush the entire tree with the egg wash (egg yolk and water mixed).
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
