  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
For the Filling
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Light corn syrup
  • 1 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups Pecan halves or chopped pecans

Method
 

Steps to Make Pecan Pie Bars
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  4. Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. Bake the crust for about 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, light corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
  7. Gently stir in the pecans until fully coated.
  8. Pour the pecan filling over the warm crust and bake until set and golden, about 25-30 minutes.
  9. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing them into squares.
