- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
- Combine breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Whisk together the eggs and milk in a separate bowl until well blended.
- Place the flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess. Then, dip it in the egg mixture and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook each coated chicken breast for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish.
- Mix the remaining grated Parmesan cheese with shredded mozzarella and minced garlic in a bowl.
- Top each chicken breast with the cheese mixture and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbling and golden.
