How to Make Overnight French Toast
- Grease or butter a 9×13-inch casserole dish thoroughly.
- Evenly layer 10 cups of bread cubes in the prepared pan, creating about 2 layers.
- In a medium bowl, beat together 2 cups of milk, 7 eggs, ¾ cup of brown sugar, ¾ teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the bread cubes, ensuring each piece is coated.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
- In a medium bowl, mix together ½ cup of cubed butter, ½ cup of flour, and ½ cup of brown sugar until crumbly. Cover and chill until ready to bake.
