Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Prepare the onions by peeling them and cutting a hole in the top about 1-inch in diameter.
- Place pieces of the butter into the center of each onion.
- Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in a small microwave-safe bowl. Mix in the chili onion crunch, minced garlic, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture evenly into the wells of each onion.
- Wrap each onion tightly in foil and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake the onions for 50-60 minutes, or until they're fork-tender.
- Unwrap the foil from the tops of the onions. If desired, add a little more melted butter and seasonings.
- Broil (optional) by setting the oven to broil and returning the onions for an additional 2-3 minutes.
