Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 175°C. Lightly coat the interior of a 20×20 cm or 23×23 cm baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Whisk together the eggs, fat-free half & half, Dijon mustard, ground nutmeg, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the cubed French bread to your egg mixture and stir gently, ensuring each piece is coated.
- Fold in the diced ham and shredded Swiss cheese carefully.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to rest for several minutes before slicing.
