How to Make Million Dollar Deviled Eggs
  1. Boil the Eggs: Place your eggs in a large pot and cover them with cold water. Bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover, remove from heat, and let them sit for 12 minutes for perfectly cooked yolks.
  2. Cool the Eggs: Transfer the eggs carefully to a bowl of ice water. Let them cool for at least 5 minutes to make peeling easier and prevent any overcooking.
  3. Peel the Eggs: Gently crack each egg, then peel under running water. This helps remove any stubborn shell bits. Pat them dry with a paper towel for a clean finish.
  4. Prepare the Egg Whites: Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl, setting the egg whites aside. Aim for smooth, even halves for that professional look!
  5. Make the Filling: Add mayonnaise, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash and mix until the filling is smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add Fresh Herbs: Fold in the chopped chives until they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture, infusing each bite with fresh flavor that complements the richness.
  7. Fill the Egg Whites: Use a piping bag or a small spoon to fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture. As you fill, give each one a generous amount to create a lovely presentation.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle paprika and extra chives over the filled eggs for a beautiful garnish. Arrange them on a platter and serve chilled for the best taste experience.
