Preparation Instructions
- Dissolve the cherry jello in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir, then add 0.5 cup of cold water. Pour into a 9x13 dish and refrigerate until set, about 30–45 minutes.
- While the cherry layer sets, sprinkle 2 packets of unflavored gelatin over 0.5 cup of cold water. Let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Add 1.5 cups of boiling water to the bloomed gelatin and stir until dissolved. Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and cool slightly.
- Gently pour the creamy mixture over the set cherry layer and refrigerate to firm up.
- In a bowl, dissolve the lime jello in 1 cup of boiling water, then add 0.5 cup of cold water and cool slightly.
- Once the creamy layer has set, pour the lime layer on top. Refrigerate until fully set, about 1 hour.
- Slice the dessert into squares and serve chilled. Optional: garnish with fresh mint leaves.
