Method

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the creamy goat cheese, lemon zest, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Blend well until smooth and set aside.
  2. Take a phyllo sheet or spring roll wrapper, and lay it flat on your work surface. Lightly brush it with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of the goat cheese mixture at one end of the wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll it up tightly. Seal the edges with a little water or egg wash.
  4. Continue the rolling process with remaining wrappers and filling, ensuring each roll is tightly sealed.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Carefully remove the rolls and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. In a small saucepan, combine honey, red chili flakes, sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt. Warm over low heat for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Drizzle the spicy honey over the warm goat cheese rolls and garnish with fresh thyme or parsley.
  9. Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
