Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
- Combine cranberries, 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, orange zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.
- Spread the cranberry mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Whisk together 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a separate bowl.
- Mix the egg and melted butter in a small bowl and pour into the dry ingredients.
