Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme or rosemary. Marinate if possible for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown, then remove.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, add cranberries, orange juice and zest, and honey. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, add broth, scrape up browned bits, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Serve with sauce and garnish with herbs or orange zest. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired.
