Method
 

How to Make Coconut Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until combined. Set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the chocolate chips with a teaspoon of flour until coated.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips carefully.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish.
  8. Combine the coconut flakes, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt in a bowl until sticky.
  9. Spread the coconut filling over the brownie batter.
  10. Top with the remaining brownie batter, smoothing it out.
  11. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  12. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
