How to Make Coconut Brownies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until combined. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix the chocolate chips with a teaspoon of flour until coated.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips carefully.
- Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish.
- Combine the coconut flakes, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt in a bowl until sticky.
- Spread the coconut filling over the brownie batter.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter, smoothing it out.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
