Cake Preparation

  3. Poke holes all over the baked cake using the back of a spoon or a straw once it has cooled slightly.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the holes in the cake, ensuring it seeps in nicely.
  5. Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl until well combined.
  6. Drizzle the cinnamon-sugar butter mixture over the cake.
  7. Beat the cream cheese and unsalted butter together until smooth.
  8. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, mixing until creamy.
  9. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
  10. Refrigerate the cake for at least 30 minutes before serving.
