  • 1 can Prepared apple pie filling or cooked cinnamon apples Sweet and convenient flavor base

For the Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened for spreading

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until completely smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over one side of each tortilla.
  3. Chop the apple pie filling or cooked cinnamon apples into small pieces and combine with brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg in a bowl.
  4. Fill each tortilla by spreading the apple mixture evenly onto half of it and fold the tortillas to form half-moon shapes.
  5. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the quesadillas for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Slice the quesadillas into wedges and serve warm with powdered sugar or other toppings.
